Conference on Quality of Alternative Care for Children and Youth in Europe

The FICE Europe organize the Conference on Quality of Alternative Care for Children and Youth in Europe, which will take place on 18 -19 September in the Szent Adalbert Training, Spiritual and Conference Center in Esztergom, Hungary, http://www.szentadalbert.hu/e_konferencia_kozpont.php

Aim of the Conference is to reflect on the quality of alternative care for children in Europe over the past 20 years and look at how our visions are far from reality, as well as to closer elaborate the following specific issues:

  • Care leavers
  • Drug addiction among children/youth in care
  • Alternative care of children with disabilities
  • Alternative care solutions for unaccompanied migrant minors

The conference is jointly organized by FICE Europe and Hungarian Directorate-General for Social Affairs and Child Protection, on the occasion of celebrating 20th anniversary of FICE Europe and 20 years of the Hungarian Child Care Law.

Conference fee is divided in the following categories:

  • 120 euro for FICE Europe members from Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • 180 euro for non-FICE Europe participants from Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • 280 euro for FICE Europe members from the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Israel, Spain, Luxembourg and Denmark
  • 320 euro for non- FICE Europe participants form the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Israel, Spain, Luxembourg and Denmark

Conference fee covers costs for one night hotel accommodation in Esztergom, coffee breaks, lunch and the common dinner. Payment of the Conference fee will be possible exclusively in cash upon registering at the registration desk on the first day of the Conference.

The online registration will close on the 10th September 2017.
